Agilent's HDMI 1.3 Test Solution Selected by Digital EMC for World's Eighth HDMI ATC
Agilent has announced that Digital EMC, Asia's leading test and certification service provider, has adopted the Agilent HDMI1.3 Compliance Test Solution to test its HDMI-enabled devices. The devices will be submitted for use in the world's eighth HDMI Authorized Testing Center (ATC), located in Korea. Agilent equipment is used in the majority of the ATCs worldwide.
FPGA family from Nu Horizons integrates connectivity standards for cost-sensitive low-power applications
Available shortly from Nu Horizons is the next generation of Xilinx’s Spartan FPGAs for cost-sensitive applications. The eleven-member Spartan-6 family delivers expanded densities ranging from 3,400 to 148,000 logic cells, with half the power consumption of previous Spartan families and faster, more comprehensive connectivity. Imagination Technologies to include Sorenson Spark video decoder on its video cores
Imagination Technologies and Sorenson Media today announced that Imagination will include Sorenson Media’s Sorenson Spark video decoder in future versions of its line of advanced POWERVRVXD video decoder IP cores sold to semiconductor and consumer electronics companies. The cores are used in mobile phones, handheld multimedia devices, home consumer entertainment products, mobile and low-power computing devices, and in-car electronics.
