Express Logic to Sponsor Renesas Technology’s U.S. Developers’ Conference
Express Logic is sponsoring the Renesas Developers’ Conference, which focuses on providing design ideas for applications in consumer, industrial, automotive and communication markets. The conference takes place in San Diego from October 13-15. Express Logic’s ThreadX RTOS has been ported to the Renesas SuperH processor family and Renesas has integrated RTOS-aware debugging into its Embedded Workbench development tools.
Toshiba launches 256GB solid state drives
Toshiba has announced enhancements to its line-up of NAND-Flash-based solid state drives (SSD) with the addition of an industry-leading density of 256-gigabyte (GB) SSD and the launch of a series of small-sized Flash Modules for netbook computers ultra-mobile PCs (UMPCs) and other mobile and peripheral applications. The new drives will be showcased at the CEATEC in Makuhari, Japan, from September 30 to October 4.
