MEMS Based Attitude And Heading Reference Modules From Inertial Aerosystems
Inertial Aerosystems has announced the availability of enhanced performance versions of two of its established high tech products. Manufactured by Netherlands based Xsens, the MTi and MTi-G are miniature gyro operated Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS). The enhancements are derived from a new sensor fusion algorithm and hardware improvements.
Tekdata builds wiring harnesses for the James Webb Space Telescope
Tekdata Interconnections has been awarded a major contract from Northrop Grumman to provide wiring harnesses for NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) program. Toshiba's New Platform Technology for 40nm CMOS Process
Toshiba has announced a 40nm CMOS platform technology based on 45nm process technology co-developed with NEC Electronics. The new platform fabricates SOC for power-critical mobile applications that consume less than half the power of 65nm generation LSI. The company also announced that it expects to deploy the technology on samples in the fourth quarter of FY2008, and in mass production in the second quarter, FY2009.
