Broadcom Licenses Arm Cortex A9 Multiprocessor Technology
ARM , and Broadcom Corporation, a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, today announced that they have signed a major licensing agreement for the ARM Cortex -A9 MPCore multicore processor. Broadcom intends to target the technology towards next-generation mobile, wireless and other consumer electronics applications.
