Saft wins €1.5 million order to supply MP series Li-ion batteries for Indian Army’s tactical radios
Saft has won a new order worth around €1.5 million from Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) to supply its MP series rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. The new contract covers an immediate requirement for Li-ion batteries both for new radios and for replacement batteries for radios already deployed in the field.
Oxford Instruments wins second ITER contract

BASF specialty foam in solar collectors from the heating technology company Viessmann
The international heating systems manufacturer Viessmann, Germany, now uses Basotect to insulate its solar collectors. The light, flame-retardant melamine resin foam produced by BASF is fitted to the side walls and the rear of flat-plate collectors. Flat-plate collectors capture solar radiation and convert it into heat.

BASF today outlined its Strategy 2020 for Asia Pacific. Through 2020, BASF aims to grow on average two percentage points faster than the Asia Pacific chemical market each year.
