Rochester Electronics re-introduces the Intel 80960
The 80960MC 32-bit microprocessor was originally manufactured by Intel as an enhanced version of the i960 series and enjoyed great commercial success in a host of embedded applications.
With 512-byte instruction cache, a built-in interrupt controller, an integrated floating-point unit and a memory management unit, the 80960MC is a versatile and high-demand chip that can respond to interrupts in under 3.4μs and is capable of execution rates in excess of 9.4 million instructions per second.
