Nuvoton launches NuMicro Family —32-bit Microcontroller based on ARM Cortex-M0
Nuvoton Technology Corporation announced the launch of a brand new product line — NuMicro Family, the 32-bit Microcontroller based on ARM Cortex-M0. NuMicro family adopts the newest processor of ARM Cortex-M0, featured with smallest size, lowest power consumption, optimized instruction set. As a powerful microcontroller, NuMicro® Family is equipped with various built-in analog, mixed-signal components, and all kinds of high-speed communication interfaces, which enables users to upgrade their existing products from 8051 to NuMicro® Family easily. With the integration of features of wide range voltage input and EMI from 8-bit microcontroller, NuMicro® Family is particularly suitable for the industry controlling system.
NuMiAs to the development tools, NuMicro® Family 32-bit microcontroller has acquired the authorized support of “MDK-ARM”, the Microcontroller Development Kit of ARM. MDK-ARM integrates the ARM RealView® Compilation Tool with the Keil ™ μVision4 IDE and Debugger Tools. Customers can also choose another complete integrated development tool solution “EWARM” provided by IAR , a well-known international company. Besides the full support from the renowned company worldwide, Nuvoton also provides comprehensive S/W & H/W systems to assist customers in developing products within short time. Customers can also take advantage of the capabilities of ISP(In System Programming) or ICP(In Circuit Programming) to update the system firmware, which can increase the flexibility and convenience in production.
Nuvoton has been continuing expanding the MCU product line to provide customers for years with high performance solutions and the lowest cost in order to supply the large market share of Nuvoton’s 8-bit microcontroller. Nuvoton expects to proves to be the best business partner in current competitive microcontroller market.
