Avalue Technology, an industrial PC solution provider and a Titanium member of the Intel Internet of Things Solutions Alliance, endeavours to provide a complete range of smart retail, smart healthcare, smart manufacturing, smart transportation and embedded solutions.

Healthcare+ Expo 2022 will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (TaiNEX1) on December 1st to December 4th. Being committed to providing smart healthcare solutions, Avalue will be showcasing a wide array of targeted products at Intel’s exhibition area and at Microsoft and E Ink Holdings’ exhibition area respectively.

While Intel (booth no.: L617a) has in recent years been investing in and enabling collaboration between the healthcare and IT sectors, Avalue’s focus on smart healthcare is backed by years of R&D capability and industrial foundation. Together with Intel, Avalue will be showcasing smart healthcare solutions in “Medical AI”, “Life Science” and “Digital Hospital”. In the “Digital Hospital” zone, Avalue will be exhibiting its latest 25" 4-colour e-paper display, EPD-2501. Using extremely low power and low-reflectivity with no backlight, it can display healthcare information while reducing paper use and energy depletion. Furthermore, 4-colour e-paper is more appealing than conventional monochrome e-paper. Collaborating with Biomedica, Avalue will be exhibiting its MAB-T600 healthcare AI workstation in the “Medical AI” zone. Using 12th-Gen Intel Core processor and Biomedica’s Osteoporosis AI Screening software, Avalue MAB-T600 healthcare AI workstation analyses massive medical images and data to quickly and precisely provide analytical results, reducing healthcare workers’ workload and improving healthcare quality while allowing patients to discover symptoms early and seek treatment in time. In the “Life Science” zone, a Future of Laboratory Diagnostics is showcased. Using Avalue HPC server bundled with 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor, integrated precision laboratory platform DataSense provides 100TB storage capacity, allowing it to be used as a local data centre. Transmitting data at 16Gbps, it gathers data from various test equipment for AI training and model construction, saving time required to analyse test samples and achieving precision computation. Its medical imaging and genetic analysis software assist healthcare workers in digital pathological analysis, and in screening for tumour genes and genetic diseases using next-generation sequencing.

In the exhibition area with Microsoft and E-Ink (booth no.: L118), Avalue will be exhibiting the 42" monochrome e-paper as a patient information display board in a smart ward, bridging the communication between the hospital, healthcare team, patient, and patient’s family. Replacing the traditional white board, information on the healthcare information display can be updated in real time, freeing healthcare workers from the burden of manually writing updates in the midst of their hectic work, giving them more time to care for patients. Additionally, the 25" full-colour e-paper display will also be showcased. While maintaining all the advantages of the e-paper, full-colour display technology makes it more suited for use as a notice board, ideal as ad display for indoor commercial spaces, e.g. restaurant, retail outlet, transportation hubs such as MRT and airport, and public information display.
