Acrospire relaunches expanded sprint series of affordable street lighting
Acrospire, a leading British manufacturer known for its heritage and solar lighting solutions, has announced the relaunch of its Sprint Series, a versatile and cost-effective street lighting range. The expanded series now includes five luminaire options, addressing the growing demand from specifiers seeking broader application capabilities.
“We’ve observed increasing interest in our functional lighting solutions, and to better support specifiers’ needs across a wider range of applications, we’ve significantly broadened the Sprint Series,” said Tim Baker, Managing Director of Acrospire.
The original Sprint Series first gained prominence during Luton’s large-scale LED rollout, with over 4,000 Sprint Mini and Micro units installed across traffic routes and residential areas. The newly relaunched series builds on this success by offering enhanced flexibility and performance.
Key Features of the Expanded Sprint Series:
- Versatile Range: Available in five sizes – Micro, Mini, Midi, Maxi, and Maxi Plus – with power options ranging from 8W to 300W, perfect for 1:1 replacements of HID or early LED lanterns.
- Flexible Mounting: Easily switch between side entry and post top entry mounting onsite, adaptable to various installation requirements.
- Precision Adjustment: Adjustable from -20° to 15° in 5° increments for precise on-site fine-tuning.
- Connectivity: Industry-standard NEMA and ZHAGA connectivity options for a wide range of control solutions.
- Control Flexibility: Compatible with multiple control options, including DALI, 1-10V dimming, and miniature photocells, making the series CMS agnostic to integrate with any network.
- Enhanced Safety: Features a vertical hinge and automatic electrical disconnect, simplifying maintenance and enhancing safety.
- Wide Applicability: Ideal for roadways, residential streets, town centres, campuses, parks, footpaths, and car parks.
The new Sprint Series luminaires are engineered to meet diverse functional lighting requirements while maintaining affordability. With multiple photometric and lumen packages delivering up to 45,000 lumens, the series offers robust and adaptable lighting solutions for a range of settings.
Investing in efficient lighting control systems can significantly cut energy costs by reducing consumption and ensuring lights are only on when necessary. The Sprint Series supports custom dimming profiles, NEMA or Zhaga connectivity, and is compatible with remote management systems from all major CMS providers.
