In light of the global pandemic and related measures imposed by the respective authorities, European Microwave Week EuMW show organisers have decided to reschedule the event to 10th-15th January 2021, in order to enable as many conference and exhibition visitors to join as possible.

The event will be held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and will encompass the 50th European Microwave Conference, the 15th European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference, and the 17th European Radar Conference.

The technical programme and exhibition will provide an opportunity for attendees to experience the latest products, research, and initiatives in the microwave sector.

“We are pleased to have been able to reschedule our event to provide more recovery time,” said Frank van den Bogaart, President of EuMA, “EuMW exhibitors, participants, and technical co-sponsors should know that we are working to create an exceptional event that offers opportunity for networking, product demonstrations, and a conference that advances the state of the art.”

“This is an unprecedented time for events,” added Ivar Bazzy, President of Horizon House, organiser of EuMW on behalf of EuMA. “We are working closely with the Jaarbeurs Convention Centre and our partners in Utrecht in order to plan an event that offers everything people have come to expect and enjoy about EuMW and protects the health and safety of participants.”

Frank van Vliet, General Chair EuMW 2020 said: “Albeit at a different date, we believe the programme, exhibition, and venue promise to deliver a fantastic event in a historical city. We are currently very busy implementing all the changes for this move and believe this maximises the ability for as many people as possible to attend. We look forward to welcoming you in Utrecht, The Netherlands!”

The event’s Platinum sponsor, Keysight Technologies, expressed its support: “In light of the current situation, Keysight Technologies fully supports this date change, and we look forward to welcoming EuMW attendees in Utrecht in January,” said Andrea Dodini, Senior Director EMEAI Field Marketing, Keysight Technologies.

Bringing industry and academia together, European Microwave Week 2020 is a six-day event, including three conferences, three forums, and one trade and technology exhibition featuring players from across the globe.

EuMW is organised by Horizon House on behalf of the European Microwave Association (EuMA), an international non-profit association with a scientific, educational and technical purpose.
