SECO will showcase its hardware and software solutions for sensor systems at the upcoming Sensors Converge show in Santa Clara, California, from 24th to 26th June.

At booth 602, visitors can explore SECO's solutions that connect sensors, process data on Edge devices, and communicate with the Cloud. These solutions aim to reduce both costs and time-to-market while implementing IoT functionality and AI-based intelligence.

SECO offers a range of embedded computing and rugged smart display products, featuring Arm and x86 microprocessor architectures, for integration into smart devices and embedded systems. Its rugged human-machine interface (HMI) panel PCs provide smart touch displays incorporated into machinery. SECO’s new Modular Vision series, available in standard sizes of 7, 10.1, and 15.6”, offers wired and wireless networking and typical industrial sensor interfaces. Fanless PCs, designed for high reliability, flexibility, and security, easily interface with sensor and industrial equipment through a certified boxed solution.

SECO also produces a wide array of off-the-shelf computing modules, including single-board computers (SBCs) and standard form factor system-on-modules (SoMs), which integrate into machinery at the circuit board level. To retrofit existing sensors for IoT connectivity, SECO’s Easy Edge gateway provides a bridge to the Cloud via Wi-Fi and cellular radios using serial and other interfaces.

SECO hardware products integrate seamlessly with Clea, its software solution for powering IoT infrastructure. Clea can be rapidly deployed on any scale to meet installation requirements, making it easy to ingest and process sensor data, manage infrastructure remotely, utilise smart algorithms to detect and address issues before failure, and facilitate value-added services and AI applications. Clea can also be deployed on non-SECO equipment and upgrade existing IoT systems.

At Sensors Converge, SECO will present solutions for various applications, including:

  • A smart vending machine with a SECO SBC that drives the display, controls motor actuation, and manages sensor data
  • A high-flow, non-invasive ventilator that uses a SECO SBC to interface with air flow, pressure, and pulse oximetry sensors
  • A coffee beverage dispensing system
  • Additionally, SECO will display fanless PCs, single-board computers, and system-on-module products from their off-the-shelf product line

Benefits of SECO’s embedded sensor solutions:

  • Wide range of processing options and physical interfaces for various sensor applications
  • Industrial temperature tolerance, conformal coating, and rigorous verification and validation for robust, reliable operation
  • Long-term availability, full product lifecycle management, and global supply chain support
  • Comprehensive IoT software suite for easy architecture, upgrading, and deployment of Edge/Cloud infrastructure
  • AI algorithm development to enhance operational performance and create new business models
  • Easy integration of off-the-shelf and customisable industrial-grade computing solutions to speed up time-to-market and reduce engineering development costs
