IoT development kit includes 30-megapixel camera
The CoreS3 ESP32S3 loT development kit from M5Stack is now being shipped by distributor Mouser Electronics.
It is optimised for industrial control applications, smart building projects, external node data acquisition and more.
The development kit is based on the Espressif Systems ESP32-S3 2.4GHz Wi-Fi + Bluetooth LE system on chip (SoC) with a 240 MHz dual-core processor.
It has an integrated two-inch capacitive touch IPS screen and a host of sensors to enable it to monitor its environment.
And the development can be easily programmed with the Arduino integrated development environment (IDE) or micro python, allowing users to prototype their IoT ideas right out of the box.
The CoreS3 ESP32S3 loT development kit features a 30-megapixel camera along with a proximity sensor, a six-axis attitude sensor and a magnetometer.
Onboard audio decoding and dual microphones provide audio input, and a built-in 1 W speaker offers audio feedback. All signals are readily available for use.
A compact 54 mm x 54 mm x 16 mm DinBase form factor enables convenient Din rail or wall mounting. The device can be powered by an external 12 VDC power supply and features an internal 500 mAh lithium battery for remote use.
Applications include IoT development, DIY projects, smart home control systems, industrial automation control systems.
