Design partner program accelerates IoT solutions to market
Semtech has announced the Semtech Design Partner Program. The program streamlines the time-to-deployment for LoRa-based IoT solutions by connecting customers, system integrators and developers with experienced design services firms that understand LoRa devices and wireless radio frequency technology (LoRa Technology).
The Semtech Design Partner Program debuts with seven design services firms participating: Gaussian Labs, GND Solutions, IMST, Occam Technology Group, ProAnt, Technosphere Labsy, and Virscient. Collectively, the companies offer a wide range of experience including product development, system architecture and NPI services.
Customers access this technical expertise by contacting the firm of their choice and contracting directly. LoRa Technology is a proven platform for developers to build IoT solutions with long range, low power capabilities in either private or public networks. The IoT platform has amassed hundreds of known uses cases and thousands of deployments for smart cities, smart homes and buildings, smart agriculture, smart metering, smart supply chain and logistics, and more.
“Semtech’s goal is to shorten time-to-market IoT applications and provide customers with LoRa Technology’s flexible and scalable capabilities by streamlining development the process,” said Vivek Mohan, Director of IoT in Semtech’s Wireless and Sensing Products Group.
“The great advantage of the Semtech Design Partner Program is having a referral source to easily find and contact technical experts who specifically focus on LoRa-based IoT solutions. LoRa Technology is the Device, Network and Applications (DNA) for all IoT solutions.”
