NXP Strengthens North American RFID Team

NXP today announced the appointment of two Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) industry veterans, further bolstering NXP’s RFID presence in North America. Victor Vega joins as the marketing director for RFID products and Suresh Palliparambil joins as the RFID Business Development Director. Both Victor and Suresh will be based in San Jose, California. Victor joins NXP with almost 17 years experience in RFID working previously with Motorola and Alien Technology and, having authored 19 RFID related patents, a deep understanding of the technology. Having held various engineering and business development roles in companies such as DHL, Datalogic, Intelleflex and Omni-ID, Suresh brings extensive knowledge of the RFID market, partners and customers. At NXP Victor and Suresh will focus on further developing North American RFID business opportunities, working closely with influencers and stakeholders for the various ID ecosystems.
