AVM selects Lantiq VDSL SoC for FRITZ!Box 7490 VDSL2 gateway
Lantiq has announced that AVM has selected a Lantiq high integration systems-on-chip to power its latest generation flagship VDSL2 gateway FRITZ!Box 7490. The Lantiq VDSL SoC enables highest data rates up to 150 Mbps and reliable broadband access performance, featuring VDSL2 / ADSL2/2+ capability and integrated support of ITU-T standard Vectoring.
The FRITZ!Box 7490 also achieves outstanding gigabit routing performance with minimum CPU load, due to the unique Lantiq smart acceleration engine.

Lantiq is shipping its VRX Family in high volumes and the FRITZ!Box 7490 is already commercially available.
