Wireless capabilities are becoming ubiquitous in nearly everything from appliances and consumer products, to medical devices, automotive systems, and even military equipment.

As wireless applications increase, so does the need for precise RF analysis. The signal quality of wireless products must meet user expectations. Products must pass stringent regulatory compliance tests before being brought to market. Furthermore, wireless networks must meet the growing demand for bandwidth while maintaining signal quality and limiting interference.

Signal Hound's product line up offers an impressive range of RF analysis tools well-suited for a variety of applications:

  • SM435C: this high-performance 43.5GHz real-time spectrum analyser and monitoring receiver with a 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ port offers up to 1THz/sec sweep speeds with ultra-low phase noise and is ideal for remote monitoring and high frequency applications.
  • SP145: this mid-range 14.5GHz real-time spectrum analyser offers up to 200GHz/sec sweep speeds, 40MHz streaming bandwidth, –160dBm displayed noise average and an internal GPS for enhanced field measurements, all in a an ultra-portable form factor.
  • RFS44: this single pole four throw (SP4T) absorptive solid-state switch provides RF switching across four ports at up to 44GHz. With blazing fast switch speed and 3ns rise/fall times, switch from LF all the way through the Ka band and utilise this versatile tool in psuedo-doppler direction finding applications.

The entire line of spectrum analysers and tracking generators are compatible with Spike, Signal Hound’s free proprietary spectrum analyser software. Providing full device control, a configurable spectrogram display and user interface, and a variety of analysis modes, Spike is the perfect application for powerful and affordable RF analysis.
