Push Pull CATV Amplifier from M/A-COM with Low Distortion and Differential Inputs and Outputs
M/A-COM has today announced availability of a new push-pull amplifier for CATV, FTTX, DBS, and HDTV applications where low noise figure and low distortion are required. The MAAM-010144 is a GaAs MESFET MMIC amplifier. The MMIC design is configured as a pair of cascode MESFET amplifiers for optimal broadband performance. The device is designed for integration in a 75 Ohm push-pull circuit and exhibits low distortion.
WithPackaged in a TSSOP 16-Lead exposed paddle package, the MAAM-010144 provides a high gain of 20.5 dB and +8 V DC bias. The CATV amplifier operates from 50 to 1000 MHz and exhibits a gain flatness of 0.6 dB and low noise figure of 5.5 dB. The MAAM-010144 is optimized at 75 Ω with an input return loss of 18 dB and an output return loss of 15 dB.
