500mW VHF Multi-Channel Transceiver from Radiometrix

The transmitter section boasts a software adjustable output power of 1-500mW (+27dBm) in 1dB step, and the receiver has a sensitivity of -118dBm (for 12dB SINAD). A total of 128 operating channels are available and the dual VCO design allows for large frequency offsets between transmitter and receiver. It can also be supplied on any 2MHz switching bandwidth between 140MHz to 175MHz. Total current drawn from a 5V supply during transmission is 330mA maximum for a full 500mW RF output, whilst the receiver requires only 25mA and may be powered from a supply of between 3.1 and 15V.

The unit has an operating temperature range of between -20 and +70°C, and conforms fully to both ETSI EN 300 220-3 and EN 301 489-3 standards. It is suitable for use in a broad selection of application areas, including, heavy vehicle/machine remote controls, environmental monitoring equipment, Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), Asset Tracking and Tracing, data logging systems, industrial telemetry/telecommand, and high-end security/fire alarms.
