SYSGO’s PikeOS now supports Toradex’s NXP i.MX 95-based platform

SYSGO has announced that PikeOS now supports the NXP i.MX 95 SoC platform provided by Toradex, starting with the i.MX 95 Verdin Evaluation Kit.

This collaboration underscores the partnership between SYSGO and Toradex, two companies who are also key partners of NXP. Together, they bring an integrated solution for AI, automotive, and industrial applications.

Known for its expertise and high-quality platforms, Toradex offers scalable and reliable solutions for diverse industries, including healthcare, industrial automation, robotics, transportation and many more. The company’s Verdin Evaluation Kit, featuring the NXP i.MX 95 SoC, represents cutting-edge performance and flexibility.

The NXP i.MX 95 SoC is equipped with six high-performance Arm Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2.0 GHz, complemented by an Arm Cortex-M7 as a flexible domain. Designed for demanding applications, the platform includes high-speed interfaces for fast data transfer and connectivity, as well as an integrated safety island to support functional safety. This combination makes it an ideal choice for safety-certifiable systems.

SYSGO’s PikeOS is a hypervisor-based real-time operating system designed for mixed-criticality environments. It provides advanced safety and security features, enabling customers to develop fully safety-certified solutions. PikeOS supports multiple guest operating systems, including POSIX, ARINC 653, Linux, and even Windows, providing developers with unparalleled flexibility. The standard PikeOS Board Support Package (BSP) for the NXP i.MX 95 includes key drivers such as serial and Ethernet, ensuring smooth integration and rapid deployment.
