Portable handheld interface enables more freedom to move

Cable connection enables safe Ethernet or Modbus, and further safety features include a built-in emergency stop switch. The HMI also enables control of motion systems using an optional MPG (Manual Pulse Generator).

Delta’s handheld HMI DOP-H series features a 7” high resolution LCD display, and the exterior has a simple dark etched surface and clear plastic touch screen cover. Its IP55 waterproof, anti-fouling and oil repellent case ensures durability in harsh industrial environments. The touchscreen has low power consumption and mercury-free LED backlights with no environment impact. The compact and lightweight 750g design reduces the burden of long-term use with integrated and marked cable connections to make wiring easier.

The DOP-H Series has a user-friendly interface with large-size icons, and provides powerful control drivers to support effortless communication, save system development time, and meet customer needs for a range of industrial automation applications.

Like other Delta HMI’s the DOP-H is reliable and easy to configure thanks to Delta’s DOPSoft software. Compatible with all DOP series HMI’s, project files can be easily upgraded and converted to DOPSoft format and utilised on other DOP series devices.

Additionally, the DOP-W Series integrates a number of remote monitoring functions such as eRemote which enables users to view and monitor the same screen shown on the HMI at the production site and the manufacturing control process via Ethernet. eServer, the data collection software, also allows the transferring of information and history data directly from the production site to a remote PC via Ethernet.
