Melexis showcases robotics and mobility innovations at electronica 2024
Melexis, a global leader in micro-electronic semiconductor solutions, will present its latest technological innovations at electronica 2024 (Booth B4.540), the world’s leading trade fair for electronic components, systems, and applications. Robotics: Melexis will introduce the MLX90384, the first product in the new Arcminaxis range, designed as a high-resolution magnetic 2D rotary encoder tailored to the unique requirements of robotic joints. The MLX90384 delivers a precise yet cost-effective solution for enhanced robotics applications. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at the upcoming MLX90382 high-speed encoder, positioning Melexis at the forefront of robotic sensor technology. These advancements promise to revolutionize robotics by enhancing the precision and responsiveness of robots and collaborative robots (cobots).
Automotive: In the automotive sector, Melexis will showcase its latest LIN RGB LED drivers, including the MLX81123 and MLX81124, designed to elevate automotive ambient lighting. These new variants continue to build on Melexis’ leadership in automotive lighting technology. Attendees will also see Melexis’ MeLiBu®, a high-speed solution for smart automotive lighting animation, further pushing the boundaries of automotive lighting design. For EV thermal management, Melexis will display the MLX90830 and MLX90834 MEMS pressure sensors, equipped with patented Triphibian™ technology. This innovative portfolio provides unparalleled measurement capabilities for gas and liquid media, ranging from 2 to 70 bar, making it ideal for various automotive and industrial applications.
Alternative Mobility: Melexis’ technology also extends to alternative mobility applications, such as e-bikes, electric forklifts, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), drones, and off-road or agricultural vehicles. At electronica, Melexis will highlight a range of sensors that enhance safety, efficiency, and overall user experience, whether transporting goods in a warehouse, optimizing agricultural processes, or enjoying recreational cycling.
