At this year's CES in Las Vegas, it's once again impossible to ignore the huge number of French businesses. With 365 companies, communities and organisations, the French represent the third largest delegation, just behind the United States and China. A number of startups have become a prime focus with their unexpected innovations, including Euveka, the French company which has just been awarded for its connected mannequin.

Each year CES presents awards for innovations that have marked the market of new technologies over recent months. This year, Euveka, the startup founded in 2011 by Audrey-Laure Bergenthal, is among the companies awarded by the organisers with its connected and scalable mannequin.

The Euveka dummy recreates 80% of the current female morphologies from 1.55-1.80m in height, from size 8-18 and body types ranging from 17-77 years old.

Its technological innovation is designed to adapt as closely as possible to the curves and contours of the human body and driven by Euveka's proprietary design software, can evolve fully (or by specific zone) in height or width.

The company claims its innovation revolutionises the famous static bust of couture fashion designers' studios and cuts prototyping costs in half.
