Uniform exchange format aids production process

Universal Verify is of value from the 2nd inspection system onwards, as it does not matter whether these are SPI, AOI or AXI systems.

A major advantage of the new exchange format is that data can not only be read, but the verification data can be sent back to the inspection systems of the individual manufacturers.

This is particularly necessary for the optimisation of the inspection programs and thus contributes significantly to time and cost savings in the production process.

The uniform data format can be processed by GÖPEL electronics software PILOT SuperVisor, for example.

PILOT Supervisor is a module of the data management software PILOT Connect and is integrated seamlessly into the higher-level, central administration of all information and results required or arising in the inspection process.

CAD data, user data, system master data and inspection results are uniformly stored and managed in a database system.

This can be done either by MySQL or MS-SQL.

A great advantage is the central verification and statistical evaluation of the data.

In addition, with PILOT Connect a uniform MES connection with regard to Industry 4.0 is possible.

Depending on the production-specific system used, different communication options are available with PILOT Connect.
