Meet TEGO Slim: part of the cost-effective essentials fixture range

Global lighting manufacturer Megaman continues to offer the complete lighting solution when it comes to fire-rated integrated LED downlights.

To complement its existing application rich TEGO 2, Megaman has launched its economy TEGO Slim, which harnesses many of the same benefits but at a cost-effective price point. Ideal for applications with a limited ceiling depth, TEGO Slim is suitable for a range of applications, including kitchens, bathrooms, offices, retail, hotels, and restaurants.

Weighing just 160g, TEGO Slim is a compact, slimline iteration of the TEGO and TEGO 2 LED downlight with a 90° beam angle. It comes with smooth performance triac dimming (U-dim) and offers an energy efficient lumen output of 450lm at 5.5W and a 4000K colour temperature. Tested to provide fire protection for 30, 60, 90-minute ceiling constructions and IP65 rated, TEGO Slim is ideal for environments with higher moisture levels, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Installation is simple with no tools required due to loop in/loop out functionality and a flexible cord between the luminaire and the terminal block. An optional thermal insulation guard is available for use under thermal ceiling installations and there is a brushed nickel as well as the standard matt white finish.

The Essentials TEGO Slim comes in brushed nickel or standard matt white and can be purchased at electrical wholesalers across the UK as well as a number of online retailers.
