Syslogic and RidgeRun strategically partner
Syslogic and RidgeRun have announced a strategic partnership, combining their respective expertise in rugged embedded systems and embedded software development.
This collaboration aims to deliver an integrated hardware and software solution, with a particular emphasis on computer vision applications across sectors such as transportation, agriculture, robotics, and smart cities. Their focus will be on real-time video analysis and 360-degree image capture and processing.
A key element of this partnership is the Railway Computer RML A4NX, designed for AI applications in the railway sector. RidgeRun brings extensive experience in developing embedded software, particularly for AI-driven solutions, and specialises in custom software based on Linux, as well as driver development and optimisation.
Syslogic, known for its robust embedded systems capable of withstanding harsh environments, will contribute AI-enabled embedded computers based on NVIDIA Jetson System on Modules (SoMs). Both companies are recognised as NVIDIA Preferred Partners, further strengthening their collaboration.
Raphael Binder, CEO of Syslogic, commented, "RidgeRun’s software and our hardware are an ideal match." Binder added that this partnership would provide customers with a powerful solution to bring future trends to life.
