SPS 2021: exhibition highlight in hybrid format
The SPS will be opening its doors once again from 23 – 25 November 2021 in Nuremberg, Germany.
Hosting around 750 exhibitors, the event is to cover the entire spectrum of smart and digital automation and provide insights on the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Premiering this year, the SPS will be complemented by the digital platform 'SPS on air'. Connecting the digital and physical worlds, a holistic trade fair experience will be created, which is designed to offer all participants around the world the chance to be part of the experience. The extended runtime of the digital platform after the exhibition days will allow sufficient time to connect, interact and dive into content.
The hybrid lecture program brings together high profile speakers covering topics such as digital transformation/Industry 4.0, industrial communication, safety and security, new logistic methods and robot integration, ad use cases for AI. Most content will be made available on demand on the 'SPS on air' platform.
One of the program highlights includes the keynote by Christian Baudis, digital entrepreneur, and former managing director of Google Germany. He will talk on the importance of data as a competitive advantage in the industry, and touch on the adjacent mega-topics of robotics, sensor technology and cyber security. Data and its aggregation (AI) are closely related to these megatrends and Baudis will show examples of successful implementation.
The SPS, whether on-site or online, once again promises to offer a top-class industry event.
