Paving the way in industrial automation for 25 Years
Accu-Assembly, an industrial automation company, is pleased to announce its 25-year anniversary.
Founded in 1997, Accu-Assembly is dedicated to providing automation, quality assurance and material handling solutions to SMT manufacturing customers worldwide. Seeing a need for component feeder verification on SMT placement machines, Accu-Assembly introduced the BarTector product line in 1998.
In order to address material management issues, Accu-Assembly has recently introduced the AccuStock, an automated, high-speed system for the storage and retrieval system of SMT component reels. Known throughout the industry as a manufacturer of quality assembly products for pick-and-place systems, Accu-Assembly’s core competency is software development and interfacing to various types of databases.
The company now manufactures AccuStock, a fully automatic component reel storage system, as well as the BarTector, HumiTel and AccuEye products used in surface mount assembly. These systems are used to verify correct parts placement, parts traceability, MSD tracking, parts and PCB tracking, plus automatic splice detection. The company also recently launched a new product: the AccuID, which is a fast, efficient SMT component reel barcode decoding system especially useful for Traceability functions.
Additionally, Accu-Assembly has been very involved in the software development of the VJ Electronix XQuik series of X-ray component reel parts counter systems. There are more than 300 XQuik systems installed worldwide.
