Neousys debuts new IP66 waterproof computer

This new series is distinguished by its IP66-rated waterproof capabilities and is powered by the Intel 13th/12th-Gen Core processor, ensuring high performance in even the most challenging conditions. Designed with a waterproof chassis, system-level thermal management, and water-resistant I/O connectors, the Nuvo-9650AWP offers durability and reliability at a cost-effective price point, making it ideal for use in harsh environments such as maritime and offshore settings, as well as in agricultural or mining vehicles.

The Nuvo-9650AWP series benefits from Neousys' advanced thermal and mechanical engineering, housed in a robust stainless steel and aluminium chassis. It features an effective thermal dissipation system for the CPU, memory, and power IC, enabling it to operate seamlessly in a wide temperature range from -25 to 70°C, even in salty, humid, and dusty conditions. When it comes to connectivity, the Nuvo-9650AWP series is equipped with three 2.5GbE and one GbE ports, all through waterproof M12 connectors, with an IEEE 802.3at PoE+ option for powering industrial or IP cameras. Additionally, it includes a waterproof type-C connector that supports a dual-mode operation, allowing for both 5Gbps USB3 data transfer and 4K DisplayPort video output via a Type-C hub.

Designed for vehicular deployment, the Nuvo-9650AWP is outfitted with an 8 to 48V DC input with integrated ignition power control and meets the MIL-STD-810H standards for shock and vibration resistance. With its rugged construction, the Nuvo-9650AWP is perfectly suited for operation in demanding environments, such as onboard mining trucks or agricultural machinery, ensuring reliable performance where it matters most.
