LASER COMPONENTS manufactures thin film polarisers for polarisation separation, suitable for high power lasers and UV wavelengths. Polarisers optimised for 45° incident angle are more easily integrated into optical setups and are typically manufactured with an anti-reflection coating on the rear side, since the AOI does not correspond to the Brewster angle.
As with all of our optics, custom options are available, with the possibility to integrate other optical functions into a thin film polariser and reduce the number of optics in a system. For example, additional high reflectivity or high transmission areas, or a beam splitter function. Custom thin film polarisers can be manufactured for two or three defined wavelengths.
