Avassa is proud to announce that Snapdaq has selected the Avassa Edge Platform as its application management and operations solution for the Industrial Edge.

Snapdaq, known for its solutions in industrial connectivity and data collection, is using the Avassa Edge Platform to operate and manage the workloads running on their IIoT gateways in challenging, remote industrial environments. This move enables Snapdaq to gain enhanced remote control over application deployments, proactively monitor the health of applications, and leverage rapid troubleshooting capabilities to their end customers – ranging from system integrators and CNC manufacturers to manufacturing enterprises.

By leveraging the Avassa Edge Platform, Snapdaq overcomes limitations such as dependency on VPN solutions, ensuring that customers can be reached remotely and that any operational issues are swiftly identified and resolved. The decision was driven by some key benefits:

  • Enhanced remote management: enabling secure, direct access to industrial gateways without the constraints of outdated VPN solutions
  • Proactive monitoring and rapid troubleshooting: allowing for immediate detection and resolution of issues to minimise downtime and maintain strict SLAs
  • Unmatched technical expertise and user experience: a platform designed with deep technical knowledge and an intuitive interface, backed by a support team of experts
  • Built-in capabilities for OS upgrades: to ensure that the platform scales in the future, offering remote, continuous, and efficient lifecycle management of applications and operating system alike

“Partnering with Avassa is a game-changer for us. Their Edge Platform empowers Snapdaq to overcome traditional connectivity challenges by providing secure, direct lifecycle-management of industrial assets – unlocking a delivery model as-a-service. With enhanced remote access and proactive monitoring, we can now guarantee rapid troubleshooting and minimal downtime, ensuring our customers receive unmatched reliability in even the most challenging environments,” says Engin Altındaş, Founder of Snapdaq.

“We’re excited to see Snapdaq harness the power of the Avassa Edge Platform to redefine industrial connectivity. Our solution is built to deliver not just superior remote access and offline capabilites, but also an intuitive user experience backed by deep technical expertise in our customer success team. This collaboration is a testament to our shared commitment to innovation and operational excellence at the Industrial Edge,” says Urban Lindegren, Head of Sales at Avassa.

Snapdaq is beginning its rollout with the Avassa Edge Platform, and as the implementation expands over the coming months, it will significantly enhance Snapdaq’s ability to deliver robust, as-a-service solutions to their customers in the industrial sector, who are looking for an open, modern addition to their factory-floor technology stack.
