The MLX72013 RF transmitter IC is a new member of the successful Melexis family of Wireless products. Optimized for use in an operating frequency range of 425 to 445 MHz, the MLX72013 is an ideal fit for applications using the world wide, 434-MHz industrial-scientific-medical (ISM) band standard.

NXP Semiconductors N.V. today announced the KMZ60, the industry’s first magnetoresistive angle sensor with integrated amplifier IC. The NXP sensor uses AMR technology (AMR: anisotropic magnetoresistive) and is designed as a low cost, high-performance control device for brushless DC motor (BLDC) commutation. NXP expects that this new sensor will drive uptake of BLDC motor-based applications, particularly in the automotive sector.
