Full-bridge DMOS PWM motor driver IC
An automotive version of the A4950 full-bridge motor driver IC is now available from Allegro MicroSystems Europe. The A4950 is designed for pulse width modulated (PWM) control of DC motors, and is capable of peak output currents to ±3.5 A and operating voltages to 40 V. The device is AECQ100 Grade 1 qualified and is rated over an extended ambient operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
