TTControl has today announced the introduction of the powerful new HY-TTC 500 controller family. Designed to satisfy upcoming needs for a wide range of high-end applications such as construction and agricultural machines, the freely programmable controllers can be programmed either in C or in CODESYS.
Automotive ethernet common-mode choke is world's smallest
A new series of common-mode chokes for automotive Ethernet have today been presented by TDK. Featuring the world’s best common-mode noise suppression, the new ACT45L series has a footprint of just 4.5 mm x 3.2 mm and an insertion height of just 2.8 mm. Fulfilling the standard’s stiffest requirements, the miniaturized ACT45L series is the world’s smallest common-mode choke for automotive Ethernet.
BLDC motor gate driver drives six N-channel MOSFETs
Capable of driving six N-channel MOSFETs, the MCP8024 is a new three-phase BLDC motor gate driver with power module which has been introduced by Microchip Technology. Featuring functions powering dsPIC Digital Signal Controllers functionality and PIC microcontrollers, as well as improved performance and high robustness, the MCP8024 offers increased efficiency, lower system cost and accelerated time-to-market.
Smallest common-mode choke for CAN and FlexRay bus systems
The world's smallest with compact dimensions of just 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 2.4 mm, TDK introduce the new ACT1210 series of common-mode chokes for both CAN and FlexRay bus systems. Operating over a wide temperature range from -55 °C to +150 °C, the ACT1210 series chokes are qualified to AEC-Q200, making them ideal for use under severe conditions such as those encountered in the engine compartment of a vehicle.

ERNI Electronics introduce the BLUEcontact line of central electrical systems. Developed using the company's extensive expertise in pressfit technology, these central control and supply units set new standards in terms of shock and vibration resistance. Ensuring reliable and compact connections with high current load capacity, the BLUEcontact line is ideal for the commercial vehicle sector, where a reliable conn...
AEC-Q200 qualified SMT inductors in case size 2220
TDK has enhanced its portfolio of EPCOS SMT inductors in case size 2220 (EIA), with the introdcution of the new SIMID 2220-T (B82442T*) series. Operating over a wide automotive temperature range from -55°C to 150°C, the new RoHS-compatible components feature a current capability of between 46 mA and 3510 mA, and DC resistances of between 25 mΩ and 112 Ω.
Automotive brushless sensorless motor controller IC
Toshiba announce the introduction of a new three-phase brushless sensorless motor controller IC. Integrated with automotive pre-drivers, the TB9061AFNG enables cars equipped with an idling reduction system cut out to easily switch the power source for oil and engine cooling pumps from the engine to an electric motor.
Industry's first automotive leakage detection IC unveiled
Due to the increased proliferation of electric and hybrid vehicles, a greater demand for 100V AC outlets for powering consumer electronics/appliances and to act as an emergency power source has been seen. The BD9582F-M, with a guaranteed operating range up to 105C, is the industry's first*1 leakage detection IC specifically designed for AC outlets in automotive systems (i.e. AC inverters). In addition, ultra-low current operation reduces batter...
Distribute large current loads with configurable switching module
Test solutions which specifically need to distribute large current loads used to rely on expensive power switching devices. The new TS-PSM3 from Rhode & Schwarz offers automotive manufacturers a different solution: a configurable power switching module that is fully integrated into the PXI-based R&S TSVP test system. The TS-PSM3 replaces auxiliary switching devices and is suitable for loads up to 30 A.
