Offering two inductors in one 4032 package, Vishay Intertechnology has announced that the automotive-grade IHLD-4032KB-5A is the industry's first dual inductor to operate up to +155°C. The device is optimised for automotive and commercial class D amplifier circuits, where it reduces board space requirements and offers improved performance compared to multiple discrete inductors.

Atmel has launched its next-gen family of automotive-qualified ARM Cortex-M0+-based MCUs with an integrated peripheral touch controller for capacitive touch applications. Protective housings, manufactured by HellermannTyton, are now available from the Motorsport Division of Lane Electronics. For maximum protection, the housings can be supplied in a straight or right-angle format and in a range of materials specially formulated to combine high electric strength, mechanical toughness and superior chemical and environmental resistance. 

Suitable for next-gen automotive LANs, such as Ethernet or image processing ECUs, ADAS ECUs and gateway ECUs, the XRCGB-F-A series crystal units have been announced by Murata. The crystals are compact, 2016-size (2.0x1.6mm), and highly precise while supporting high frequencies from 24 to 48MHz.

The devices are offered with gold-plated terminals for conventional solder assembly and conductive glueable board mount technologies, as well as high-temperature operation to +155°C with 100% power dissipation, derated linearly to +250°C.
