Portfolio of IR and UV product families
Broadcom has recently introduced a broad portfolio of IR and UV product families to the LED portfolio. The IR emitters are available in various wavelengths and industry standard packages with detectors complementing the range. The new UV-A LED portfolio offers great benefits in the sanitation and disinfection of contagious diseases as well as for the growth and boosted photosynthesis of horticulture applications.
Advanced sensor solutions
Broadcom has extended its portfolio of advanced sensor solutions with the addition of thin film pyroelectric detectors. These gas and flame detectors, available in analog and digital versions, operate in mid-infrared wavelengths from 2µm to 20µm and are used widely in medical and consumer applications.
