Eco-Innovation in the automotive industry: how Circular Economy is driving sustainability
The automotive industry is one of the most important and rapidly growing sectors of the global economy. It has been playing a vital role in shaping the future of transportation. With the growing concern for the environment and the need for sustainable transport, the automotive industry is now focusing on eco-innovation. Eco-innovation is the process of developing environmentally friendly and sustainable products, services, and technologies.
Energy storage: a global enabler for world energy transition
The energy crisis and decarbonisation requirements speed up the process of finding alternative solutions, and energy storage plays an important role in applications such as electric vehicle applications and renewable energy.
How can engineers influence ESG outcomes?
Environmental, Social and Governance, ESG for short, has become an increasingly important factor in both the strategy and vision of corporations, and in the technology and vendor selections they make.

SUNOTEC builds solar parks with an output of 2.3GW
Last year, SUNOTEC delivered photovoltaic projects with an output of around 2.3 gigawatts peak (GWp). By way of comparison, the whole of France built PV plants supplying 2.7GWp in the same twelve-month period. 2022 turned out to be the most successful year in the company’s history, as the company in the construction of ground-mounted photovoltaic plants connected more than 70 new solar parks to the grid in Europe.
5 ways engineers are helping to reduce climate change
Greenhouse gas emissions are around 50% higher than they should be. We are living in a world tarnished by global warming. End of the world films no longer seem like far-off, natty escapism but instead are a very real concern.
UK gov’t green-light bottle deposit return scheme
