MicroOLED equips Thales’ XTRAIM with OLED microdisplays
MicroOLED announces that its displays have been selected by Thales to equip its XTRAIM product. This collaboration is marked by an initial order from Thales, solidifying its confidence in MicroOLED's technology.
The XTRAIM aiming sight, developed by Thales, enables armed forces to conduct operations efficiently both day and night. Designed to enhance shooting accuracy and optimise camouflage detection in various conditions, this sight is a true asset for dismounted soldiers.
MicroOLED contributes to this technological advancement with its microdisplays, which allow the XTRAIM sight to deliver exceptional display quality even in broad daylight. With their high luminance, these displays ensure optimal visibility in extremely bright environments, a critical factor for field operations.
Furthermore, these microdisplays stand out for their low power consumption, enabling extended use of the XTRAIM sight without adding to the soldier's equipment burden. This feature is essential for missions where equipment durability and efficiency are paramount.
Stéphane Laurent, VP Sales and Business Development, MicroOLED: "Through its innovative products, MicroOLED is proud to be part of the strategic French companies contributing to the success of this project."
Alexis Morel, VP BL Optronics and Missile Electronics, Thales: "XTRAIM is already being successfully used in the field by forces around the world. Our production line allows us to deliver quickly and in large quantities."
