The A230 Vortex harnesses the full potential of the NVIDIA Ampere GPU, delivering up to 2,048 CUDA cores and 64 Tensor cores with performance reaching up to 275 TOPS, while maintaining impressive energy efficiency. The system also includes two scalable, dedicated NVDLA (NVIDIA Deep-Learning Accelerator) engines that simplify integration and design, providing a standardised method for developing deep learning inference accelerators.

In addition to its advanced AI processing capabilities, the A230 offers a wide array of high-speed interfaces and flexible data and video I/O options to meet specific system requirements. This includes four SDI (SD/HD) and eight composite (RS-170 [NTSC]/PAL) inputs, as well as Gigabit Ethernet, discrete I/O, USB, DVI/HDMI output, and UART serial ports. Storage capabilities are enhanced by an optional NVMe SSD and a microSD card slot, complementing the 64GB of LPDDR5 RAM that comes standard. Designed to meet MIL-STD-810H standards for vibration, shock, altitude, humidity, dust, and salt fog, the A230 is built for rugged environments. It features cold-plate cooling, weighs less than 8lbs, and operates with low power consumption, making it a reliable solution for demanding military applications.
