QFN Test & Burn-In Socket from Yamaichi
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced the new QFN socket series NP506 with ultra fine pitch 0.4 mm and 0.5 mm in open-top design for the test & burn-in of small IC packages.
Connector for µSD and SIM from Yamaichi Electronics
Yamaichi Electronics now offers a new multi-card or combination card connector. The FRS016T-2000-0 offers two slots offset by 90° and stacked in one casing for microSD flash memory cards as well as SIM chip cards. The SIM card is operated manually at that and the microSD card via the convenient Push/Push mechanism.
Structured Wiring for Photovoltaic Systems
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced Y-Sol for the complete wiring of PV systems for the first time at the intersolar 2008 trade show in Munich. PV module junction boxes for silicon and thin film modules as well as connector and cables ensure reliable operation of the systems for their entire life as well as their highest possible efficiency level. All products are developed and manufactured in Germany.
Power Connectors for ATCA
Yamaichi Electronics now offers power connectors for use in ATCA systems. ATCA (Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture) was initially conceived for telecommunications applications. In the meantime, the system has found applications in the most diverse areas such as, process controlling, image processing, infotainment etc.
Non-ZIF connector system with Pullforce Locking
Yamaichi Electronics has announced Non-ZIF connector system with pullforce locking mechanism as an alternative to ZIF connectors.
90° moulded RJ45 with IP20Lock for improved vibration resistance
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced a product to its Y-Con industrial connector series, a 90° moulded version of the IP20Lock with RJ45 plug, designed for high vibration environments. The Y-ConIP20Lock-31xx products are cable assemblies moulded together with the proven IP20 locking mechanism which, thanks to the ergonomic locking clips can be handled easily and without the need for tools.
SIM card holder from Yamaichi is ultra-flat
Yamaichi is continuously extending its range of ultra-flat and extremely space-saving card connectors for Flash and SIM cards. After presenting the flattest connector for the micro SD card available on the world market only last spring, the second SIM card connector is now also available in Ultra Low Profile design and with a height of only 1.5 mm (FMS006-5000-0).
RJ45 jack with magnetic filter and LED light pipes
The Y-ConJack-31 is a new RJ45 connector jack for PCB with integrated magnetic filter, and LED light pipes for the function display. The jack is particularly suited to industrial applications such as industrial ethernet. The function principle of the integrated magnetic filter module definitely makes a decisive contribution to the signal conditioning, thanks to the galvanic separation (potential separation) and the additional components. Overlaye...
SIM card holder has a super-low profile
Yamaichi is extending its range of SIM card holders with the FMS008-6000-0 in a Super Low Profile Design. The height is only 1.5 mm. The component is fitted with a switch and comfortable push/push mechanism.
USB memory stick designed for industrial applications
Yamaichi's latest USB stick meets the high protection requirements needed in the industrial sector. The Y-ConUSB-Stick-1 has a USB high-speed interface to USB 2.0 standard and a total storage capacity of 512 MB (up to 2GB on request) and, like the whole Y-Con series, meets the requirements of IP67/68/69K.
QFN 0.5 mm Pitch Test & Burn-In Sockets
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced the QFN 0.5 mm pitch Open Top socket series NP473, NP404 and NP474 for test & burn-in applications. The new open top QFN socket series have a high-reliable fine pitch 0.5 mm contact system and a standard socket scaling. For automated loading the loader change-kit needs not to be replaced for different package sizes which helps to save changeover times and costs. The standard socket size was realized as a simple...
High Speed Connectors and Cables can handle 5Gbps
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced its new generation of high speed connectors and cables for data transmission rates of up to 5 Gbps. Internal connections, according to LVDS data transmission standard, HDMI, DVI, PCI-Express or S-ATA standard can be realised with this new connector system.
Industrial connector gets metal cover
Yamaichi's Y-Con series is known for its IP69K protection level, and now there is an additional metal cover available which also enhances the mechanical protection should it be required. The Y-ConCover-30 can be retrofitted to existing cable assemblies by simply screwing the two metal covers together. The screws are made from stainless steel, and the robust cover from high-quality die-cast zinc.
Ultra-flat microSD card connector
Yamaichi is supplementing its range of microSD card connectors with the PJS008-2100 in the super low profile design (microSD previously was named TransFlash card format). This addition means a top-mount version is now available to microSD for the SMT mount on the top side of the PCB assembly.
