Connector for µSD and SIM from Yamaichi Electronics

Yamaichi Electronics now offers a new multi-card or combination card connector. The FRS016T-2000-0 offers two slots offset by 90° and stacked in one casing for microSD flash memory cards as well as SIM chip cards. The SIM card is operated manually at that and the microSD card via the convenient Push/Push mechanism.

Structured Wiring for Photovoltaic Systems

Yamaichi Electronics has introduced Y-Sol for the complete wiring of PV systems for the first time at the intersolar 2008 trade show in Munich. 90° moulded RJ45 with IP20Lock for improved vibration resistance

Yamaichi Electronics has introduced a product to its Y-Con industrial connector series, a 90° moulded version of the IP20Lock with RJ45 plug, designed for high vibration environments. The Y-ConIP20Lock-31xx products are cable assemblies moulded together with the proven IP20 locking mechanism which, thanks to the ergonomic locking clips can be handled easily and without the need for tools.

SIM card holder from Yamaichi is ultra-flat

Yamaichi is continuously extending its range of ultra-flat and extremely space-saving card connectors for Flash and SIM cards. After presenting the flattest connector for the micro SD card available on the world market only last spring, the second SIM card connector is now also available in Ultra Low Profile design and with a height of only 1.5 mm (FMS006-5000-0).

USB memory stick designed for industrial applications

Yamaichi's latest USB stick meets the high protection requirements needed in the industrial sector. The Y-ConUSB-Stick-1 has a USB high-speed interface to USB 2.0 standard and a total storage capacity of 512 MB (up to 2GB on request) and, like the whole Y-Con series, meets the requirements of IP67/68/69K.

Industrial connector gets metal cover

Yamaichi's Y-Con series is known for its IP69K protection level, and now there is an additional metal cover available which also enhances the mechanical protection should it be required. The Y-ConCover-30 can be retrofitted to existing cable assemblies by simply screwing the two metal covers together. The screws are made from stainless steel, and the robust cover from high-quality die-cast zinc.

Ultra-flat microSD card connector

Yamaichi is supplementing its range of microSD card connectors with the PJS008-2100 in the super low profile design (microSD previously was named TransFlash card format). This addition means a top-mount version is now available to microSD for the SMT mount on the top side of the PCB assembly.

MCH connector for MicroTCA from Yamaichi

Yamaichi's new MCH connectors in the series CN084 come in four diverse types. Combining them makes for various line-ups of MCH modules. The connectors serve as adapters between the MicroTCA backplane and the MCH module (MicroTCA carrier hub).
