XPeng has announced the consolidated results for its 3,000km navigation-assisted autonomous driving expedition, reportedly China’s longest real highway autonomous driving challenge by mass-produced vehicles. 

XPeng has expanded its product offering by launching three new vehicle versions powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for the Chinese market. The three new LFP-battery powered cars, including the rear-wheel drive (RWD) P7 Standard Range Smart and Premium models, and the G3 460c model, are now available to order in China. 

XPeng has shipped a second batch of over 200 G3 smart electric SUVs to Norway. This follows the successful delivery and enthusiastic take-up of its first batch of 100 G3s for the Norwegian market in December 2020, marking another important step in the company’s international market development.

XPeng has released a major over-the-air (OTA) upgrade for P7 sedan customers in China. The most comprehensive OTA upgrade in the company’s history, with the largest number of new and optimised functions, this OTA upgrade will deliver a new version of XPeng’s operating system, Xmart OS 2.5.0, to XPeng P7 customers.

Xpeng, a Chinese smart electric vehicle company, has started delivery of smart EVs to customers in Norway. 100 Xpeng G3 smart electric SUVs are being handed over this week to their new owners across 28 cities and towns in Norway - the northernmost of which is Bodø (67°N), just north of the Arctic Circle.

Xpeng Motors has completed the production of 10,000 units of the G3 smart EV, its first production model, 188 days after its official launch on December 12th, 2018. Xpeng is one of the few new EV manufacturers in China to have delivered production models to customers.
