A £11.3 million initiative to enhance the UK's battery pack manufacturing and supply chain capabilities has been acclaimed for its success.

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) has announced winners sharing around £25m of government funding to assess if projects are ready for scale-up to support the growth of manufacturing and expansion of businesses in the UK automotive supply chain.

  Findings from a new survey have revealed that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) involved in the development of low carbon technologies have secured long term orders with an annual value worth up to £1.5m by exhibiting on a UK Government Pavilion managed by the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC).
