What is said to be the smallest SMD quartz crystal in the world is included in PETERMANN-TECHNIK’s product range with the type designation SMD01612/4. The tiny crystal available with dimensions of 1.6 x 1.2 x 0.3 mm covers the frequency spectrum 32 ~ 52 MHz in the basic sound range. The narrowest frequency tolerance at 25°C is +-10 ppm, the best possible temperature stability over a temperature range of -10/+60°C +-8 ppm.

To improve EMC performance it is recommended to earth the SMD crystal with pin 2. The crystal, which can be supplied in the temperature range -30/+85°C, is in particular very suitable for use in wireless applications such as Bluetooth, NFC, WLAN, ISM, ZigBee, RFID, etc.
PETERMANN-TECHNIK’s service catalogue also includes application analyses, circuit analyses, circuit design, circuit simulations and design-in support as technical added value. If required, signal transmission measurements can be carried out or wireless transmission modules can be designed and supplied in full. PETERMANN-TECHNIK’s very low time to market is the benchmark which helps its customers to achieve their goals.
