Raltron has introduced the RMIC Series, a versatile range of electret condenser microphones.

These microphones are designed for a wide array of applications, featuring a compact size, low power consumption, a broad sensitivity and frequency response range, and long operational life, all while being competitively priced.

The RMIC series is an ideal choice for applications requiring high-quality sound capture and dependable performance. Typical uses include headsets, computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, gaming devices, audio recording equipment, surveillance systems, automotive solutions such as hands-free systems, smart home technology, voice assistants, wearable devices, access control, medical equipment, radios, and remote control devices.

Available in sizes ranging from 3.0mm to 9.7mm, the RMIC microphones offer omnidirectional, unidirectional, and noise-cancelling variants. Voltage input options include 3.6, 5, and 10 VDC, with sensitivity ranging from -26 to -45 dBV/Pa, and termination options including solder pad, through-hole, and wire. Additionally, Raltron provides customised wire lead lengths and connectors for RMIC Series microphones equipped with a solder pad, offering further adaptability.

The microphones' wide frequency response allows for capturing a broader spectrum of sounds, making them suitable for various audio sources and enhancing experiences in podcasting, voiceovers, and field recordings. With low power consumption, they can be powered by small batteries or directly by the device, making them ideal for battery-operated and portable systems.

“Our broad portfolio of high quality microphones are competitively priced, readily available, and built to withstand challenging environments” said Peter Sedlak, Global Audio Product Manager for Raltron Electronics. “Our ability to customise wire lead lengths, connectors, shrink tubing and labeling is an example of our great engineering support.”
