Würth Elektronik to exhibit at electronica 2014
At electronica 2014, from 11th to 14th November in Munich, Würth Elektronik will present its portfolio of standard and fully customisable electronic and electromechanical components. Products on show include X2 class foil capacitors, which operate alongside the Würth Elektronik’s filters, MLCC capacitors in 0402-1812 class sizes, snap-in aluminium electrolyte capacitors and variants in SMD, THT configurations.
The aluminium-polymer capacitors in SMD and THT configurations are claimed to offer a longer work life than competing devices. Providing an introduction to capacitors, a book titled ‘ABC of Capacitors’ will also be on display at the event. The book, which is available in English and German, is written by engineers, for engineers and features practical applications.
WE-MAPI, a powder iron SMD inductor, offers high conductivity, with rated currents up to 1.9A and saturation currents up to 4.9A. Measuring 1.6x1.6mm with a height of 1mm, the inductor is magnetically shielded. Alongside the WE-MAPI, families of power inductors for power applications and switching controller designs will also be exhibited at electronica.
Qi-compatible coils and IC house referenced coils, designed for wireless charging, will be on display at the event. Würth Elektronik will also demonstrate recent developments in WPC, while allowing attendees to charge their mobile devices at a wireless charging station.
Power modules, including an LED class module with variable output current, will be presented at electronica. These EN55015 compliant modules feature automatic restart in overload, overvoltage and excessive temperature scenarios.
Alongside High Power White LEDs, the company will exhibit White LEDs which are now available in PLCC packaging in 3014, 3020, 5630 and 3528 class sizes.
The company’s 2015 product catalogue for connectors and electromechanical components, which includes recent developments in board-to-board, wire-to-board, I/O, ZIF and terminal block technology, will be on display at electronica. Fuse holders and connection elements such as SMD spacer studs and SMD power elements for automated assembly process are also featured.
Würth Elektronik eiSos will be exhibiting in B6.404 and Würth Elektronik Stelvio Kontek at B4.539.
