Vision China to have more exhibition space than ever before
Organised by the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG) and Messe München, Vision China (Shanghai) will take place at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on March 15–17th, 2016. As the leading machine vision show in China, Vision China (Shanghai) showcases the entire industry chain, from core components and parts to processing systems.
By bringing together experts, researchers and technicians from all kinds of application industries, this show provides the best presentation platform for finding machine vision solutions for research and industry.
The show will continue its successful development with more exhibition space and a higher number of exhibitors. This year, more than 140 companies will occupy an exhibition space covering 7,000m2. In addition to loyal, well known names such as Teledyne Dalsa, Point Grey, Allied Vision, Basler, Keyence, Daheng and Luster, the company is proud to announce greater participation by core technology providers like Cognex, SONY, TI, ON, Sumita and Kowa.
With increased attention on China's machine vision market, Dahua and Hikvision, market leaders in the security industry, have also launched businesses in the machine vision industry. Over 40,000 academic and industrial users, professionals and experts are once again expected to attend the trade show this March.
For the first time, Vision China (Shanghai) will be supported by the Germany's VDMA Machine Vision association as an exhibition partner. “In the past few years China has been the most dynamic market for machine vision. Since 2008, exports from Germany have more than quadrupled. According to the VDMA Machine Vision Market Survey 2015, China was again the 3rd biggest market for European machine vision companies. Many members of VDMA Machine Vision have already been participating at the Vision China (Shanghai) show for years—and more and more European players are still expected to participate. It is our wish to support, promote and get more actively involved in the Vision China (Shanghai) show and we look forward to a close cooperation with Messe München and China Machine Vision Industry Union to promote the Vision China (Shanghai) as well as the use of machine vision in China,” says Olaf Munkelt, Chairman of the Board of VDMA Machine Vision and Managing Director of MVTec Software, Germany.
Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, Deputy CEO Messe München, is pleased about this cooperation: “This is an important milestone in the development of LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA as a leading technology platform.”
Held in conjunction with Vision China (Shanghai), the China Machine Vision Technology & Application Conference focuses on the latest hot topic of 3D measurement and related applications, establishing close links between experts, suppliers and end users.
