TFT LCD displays on show at embedded world 2017
The NUCLEUS development platform with TFT LCDs in different sizes from Displaytech shortens time-to-market, reduces development costs and is available at distributor Rutronik as of now. At embedded world, Rutronik (booth 3A-438) will show industrial TFT displays from 0.9-21.3” for industrial applications.
The new NUCLEUS development platform includes a colour TFT LCD in sizes between 2.4-4.3", a Microchip PIC24 or PIC32 microcontroller, an external flash with 2MB and external SRAM with 512KB as well as 5V USB Power and Data and a Microchip ICSP port. Initialisation and sample code are provided for TFT driver ICs. In addition, reference designs and schematics are available.
The Microchip Graphics Library and example software enable fast GUI design. The add-ons include wireless networks (WiFi and Bluetooth, 2.4GHz and 915MHz), external sensors via A/D, SPI and I2C, full speed USB and UART, SPI, I2C, parallel, as well as capacitive touch and proximity sensing.
