RF & microwave switching modules exhibited at EuMW
Exhibiting from stand 162 at EuMW (European Microwave Week), 7th to 9th October in Rome, Pickering Interfaces will present their PXI and LXI Ethernet RF & microwave switching solutions portfolio. Including multiplexers, matrices and general-purpose switches ranging from low-level DC signals to RF and microwave, the switching solutions can be used to increase the flexibility of test and measurement systems with signal bandwidths up to 65GHz.
Designed for switching 50Ω signals up to 40GHz, the 40-785B PXI microwave multiplexers are available as a single or dual 6-channel multiplexer with relays mounted on the front panel. The single slot version can support up to three supplied remotely mounted multiplexers.
The 40-780A PXI microwave SPDT relays support 1-4 SPDT relays and are available in a variety of different frequency options for 50Ω, from 12.4 to 65GHz. A 75Ω 2.4GHz version is also available.
Occupying just two 3U PXI slots, the 40-784A PXI microwave multiplexers support 4-way or 6-way multiplexers in single, dual or triple formats. They offer excellent performance throughout their frequency range and are characterised for 6, 18, 26.5 or 40GHz.
The 40-782A PXI microwave transfer switch supports one or two transfer switches with frequency options of 18, 26.5 and 40GHz.
Terminated SPDT switching modules with 18GHz frequency range, the 40-781 PXI terminated SPDT microwave relay module offers one or two relays and the option of using internal or external terminations. External termination enables users to attach external high power loads to increase the carry power of the relay.
The 40-883 is a PXI 6GHz solid state RF switch module comprised of an SP8T (8:1) MUX occupying two PXI slots and an SP16T (16:1) MUX occupying three PXI slots. The solid-state switches ensure fast switch operation time of 50µs, very repeatable performance and an indefinite service life when used within ratings.
All of these microwave switch modules include visual indicators of the relay setting with blue LEDs that indicate when a normally open path has been closed. These indicators help the user with visual checking of routing during system debug phase of test system development. Pickering Interfaces will also highlight their range of LXI switching, PXI chassis and PXI battery simulators.
