Registration open for Avnet Memec Silica Technology Day

The annual Avnet Technology Day UK organised by Avnet Memec Silica will take place on March15 as the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridge. The event will show a wide range of solutions for the security, IoT, and embedded vision markets. The event will bring together 18 suppliers providing visitors access to a plethora of different technologies and the latest innovations.

The NXP Smarter World truck will be present as part of its European tour.

Multi track presentations, seminars and table demonstrations will be available to event registrants from a variety of Avnet Memec – Silica suppliers including Analog Devices, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Microsemi, who will be offering a free Kickstart board to all visitors who attend the SmartFusion2 SoC FPGAs SpeedWay Design workshop.

The NXP Smarter World Tour bus, also offers visitors the opportunity to experience over 135 connected demonstrations for products that are helping drive the IoT.

The bus offers solutions from the world’s smallest microcontroller to secure NFC solutions.

“Our Technology Day is a fantastic opportunity for customers to have access to a wide range of our suppliers and their solutions in one place,” said Mario Orlandi, president of Avnet Memec – Silica. “Whether it is just to pique a visitors interest, or if it is to find a solution for a specific challenge, we aim to cater for everyone.”

The event will also offer attendees the opportunity for a first hand look at a new edge-to-enterprise reference platform, which targets a wide range of industrial markets, offering users a flexible and comprehensive evaluation and development.
