Preparing for electronica and productronica China 2014
Held on March 18-20, 2014 in the 57,500 square meters of halls W1, W2, W3, W4 and W5 at Shanghai New International Expo Center, the 13th electronica China and productronica China will feature more than 800 exhibitors unveiling the latest technology products and solutions including automotive electronics, power, embedded, medical, industrial electronics and more.
electronica China 2014 will feature a variety of technological focuses. Industry leaders and visionaries from the semiconductor segment will present their latest technologies and product solutions. These include Bosch, Fairchild, freescale, MICRO, microchip, IR, ST, silicon labs and TOSHIBA. The passive component segment will be mainly represented by European and Japanese manufacturers such as KEMET, muRata, OMRON, Panasonic, ROHM, TAIYO YUDEN and TDK. The sensor technology segment is one of the new focuses, showcasing some of the leading innovations in the progressive field of sensor technology, from gesture recognition and augmented reality to eye-tracking technology for intelligent and intuitive devices.
electronica China will also feature the "China International Automotive Electronics Conference" and the power innovation forum. The conference will feature around 25 speeches given by experts and representatives from auto manufacturers, tier-one and tier-two suppliers and prestigious universities. New programs such as battery management and powertrain electronic traction motor will also be launched. Technical experts and innovation leaders will speak on renewable energy and smart grid, power conversion at the power innovation forum.
Considered by some to be the industry's most important gathering, productronica China will feature cutting-edge technologies in cable processing, dispenser, EMS, materials, SMT, coil winding, ESD, clean room, test and measurement, and component manufacturing and more. Leading companies such as Universal Instruments and Europlacer will exhibit their flagship mounter solution for the first time, while visitors to the soldering and dispenser segment can exchange technical knowledge and ideas with exhibitors such as bdtronic, Nordson, RAMPH and Scheugenpflug (who will showcase their automated mixing, metering, and dispensing systems for resin and other industrial materials).
Focusing on SMT and Electronic Manufacturing Automation, the "International Conference on Electronics Manufacturing Automation Forum" will feature senior experts speaking face to face with engineers and answering questions from audiences. Additionally, productronica China will strengthen the cooperation with the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Electronics SMT committee with many more Chinese local companies exhibiting in the SMT segment.
