Plenty of new products from Ohmite on show
With their eyes fixed firmly on the future, Ohmite and Arcol have chosen to prioritise market sectors for this electronica and will subsequently be showing a host of new products designed for applications in the energy, medical and transport industries among other established markets where their products are already well known.
Filters are being shown on Stand AS5.500 for the first time. Covering dual-stage, IEC Inlet, single and 3-Phase, PCB mounted and EMI requirements, the range will be one of the largest on display.
Arcol’s renowned expertise in ceramics has enabled it to expand its ranges considerably in the last four years and show newcomers will see the non-inductive, high voltage, high power tubular resistors which are available in a wide range of standard sizes, ceramic materials terminations, and mounting hardware.
Visitors will also be able to experience the FSR (Force-Sensing Resistors) range which exhibit the unique characteristic of dynamic resistance related to the amount of applied force. In general applications, the more force applied to the surface of the sensor, the lower the resistance. The resistance change is inversely proportional to the applied force. Force Sensing Resistors offer many benefits for HMI sensing in a wide range of markets and applications compared with mechanical switching or capacitive sensing.
The new TFBR Series provides high power density in a low-profile package. Designed for easy assembly and supplied with a variety of terminal styles, the film technology lends itself to high-frequency operation due to its low inductance characteristics. The added benefit of high instantaneous pulse capacity also makes the TFBR suitable for braking, snubbing, and discharge requirements.
Ohmite’s range of thermal management products continues to evolve, and its growing range of both product specific and general application heatsinks, many of them featuring their admired clip system, will be on show.
